I spent pretty much the first half of March shooting sports related photos for my day job. Early March means basketball and Hockey playoffs and I spent a lot of time in arenas or on the road to and from them. Many of my images helped kick off the new Midco Sports Network Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/midcosn/). Once all that was wrapped up I was able to take some personal/family time in a trip out to Southern California. Among other things, I spent three days in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park on the back half of the 2017 "super bloom" and a beautiful sunrise in Joshua Tree National Park.
